I’m sure by now you’ve heard of Essential Oils. You may still be wondering how to incorporate them into your life. Today I’m showing you the best way to start using Essential Oils. In my previous post HERE, you learned a lot about why I chose to incorporate Essential Oils into my life, but now I want to show you how you can start your own wellness journey with Oils.
If you aren’t sure what they are or why they are beneficial, please go back and read my last post HERE. I give you some great information about them that should help!
If you are skeptical about Essential Oils, let me tell you I was too! That really came down to the fact that I was uneducated about them. I had no idea what they were or how they worked.
In my opinion, a big part of a healthy lifestyle is also using more natural ingredients. This is what sold me on Young Living! If you are serious about giving Oils a try, I recommend you do what I did…
I took some time to Google EVERYTHING about Essential Oils, watched videos on YouTube, checked out the websites of different companies, and read some blog posts off Pinterest. I had a lot of questions. After some time doing research, I felt comfortable enough making my choice to start with Young Living Essential Oils.
I highly recommend checking out all the videos that Dr.Oz or Dr.Axe provide on Essential Oils. These are two doctors that always give sound advice and information about health and wellness. This video about Essential Oils HERE by Dr.Axe really explains a lot of the reasons why they are a must-have in your life. Not everyone agrees with every opinion, but I found his videos helpful.
Why i chose young living
One of the main reasons I chose Young Living was that all of their oils are beyond Organic, exceeding the requirements to be labeled as such. You can visit their farms and distilleries……other companies can’t say that. All you have to do is call them and ask. Young Living is so transparent about all they do. I LOVE THAT! When it comes to health and wellness, transparency is key for me.
A lot of companies that sell Essential Oils in Health Stores or off Amazon are only required to have 5% actual Essential Oils in their bottles. The rest can be other fillers, chemicals, and unknown substances. No thanks! I like knowing what’s inside the items I use, just as I always check the ingredients inside the food products I buy. Other products shouldn’t be different.
So do your research and plug into a team like mine that provides you with all the education and transparency you need to succeed. Here’s a little info about each of the Oils in the Starter Kit and how you can use them: (there are so many additional uses for each)
*Lavender- Calming and soothing. Can add a clean and fresh scent when diffusing. Great for skin and sleep support. Also used as an emotional support oil.
*Peace and Calming- Blend Containing: Tangerine, Ylang Ylang, Blue Tansy, Orange, and Patchouli. Soothing and relaxing. Great to diffuse during yoga or meditation. Also helpful for sleep support.
*Valor- Blend Containing: Coconut Oil, Black Spruce, Blue Tansy, Frankincense, Camphor Wood, and Geranium. Known as the “Bravery oil.” Empowering and balancing aroma. Great to diffuse or use in a roller for natural perfume.

*Stress Away- Blend Containing: Copaiba, Lime, Cedarwood, Vanilla, Ocotea, and Lavender. Known as the “Vacation in a bottle.” Great to diffuse or use in a roller. Tropical and Citrus smells. Relaxing and comforting.
